Wish List
The current releases are DM HVAC 7.1, DM Electrical 8.1, and DM Plumbing 3.1. We are not adding new features to these releases.
The next releases are DM HVAC 7.2, DM Electrical 8.2, and DM Plumbing 3.2. Feedback from this wish list is being used to choose which features we implement.

Multiple Homeruns on a Circuit
Be able to draw multiple homeruns on a circuit, rather than the one that you are currently limited to.

Add twin breakers (2 circuits per space) to panel
I often find twin or tandem breakers in existing panels. There is no way to circuit them now.

Hatched or Shaded Ductwork
Add an option to automatically draw a hatch over the ductwork in 2D. Have the hatch be controlled by the type of duct (return vs supply) and layer system (new vs existing).

Equipment Schedule in Excel Format
Modify the equipment schedule so that it can be edited in a fashion similar to an Excel spreadsheet. It is difficult to go from one piece of equipment to another to edit them.

We are considering this for DM Electrical 8.1 (the next-next releases).

Residential and Other Electrical Load Types
Account for the rest of the load types in NEC 220 Part II, Part III, and Part IV that are currently ignored.
This will include an "existing load" value that can be specified for each panel (NEC 220.87).

We are considering this for DM HVAC 7.1. Additional information about what you would like the schedule to look like would be helpful, either in the comments or emailed to us.
In particular, examples of schedules you currently use would help a lot. I prefer Excel or DWG format over PDF if possible!

Generic Schedule Creator
Have a way to create a generic schedule. The schedule will be information purposes only, but it will be generated the same way as the other DM schedules so it will look the same.

Set Room Exhaust Rate
Specify the exhaust air requirements for rooms and use these numbers in the load calculations and duct design calculations.

See my comment on this feature. I’m curious about the specifics of how you see this feature work.

Annotation Scaling
Add support for annotative scale factors for blocks and text. This would allow blocks and text to be the same size in different scaled viewports.

Add the capability to make a note in panel schedules for special circuit breakers - HACR, SWD, etc.
Would make sense to add a note field in the equipment connection creation form or in the circuiting form to tag individual breakers with specific requirements, possibly with a superscript which refers to a box of notes attached to the bottom of the schedule.

Groups for Light Fixtures, Receptacles, Diffusers, and Other Stuff
Be able to create different groups for light fixtures, receptacles, and diffusers, similar to equipment and low voltage devices. Have different schedules for each different group.
Also groups for one-line devices, including panels, switchboards, transformers, and all the other types of devices.

Print Panel Schedules to Printer
Add a command to print panel schedules directly to the printer.

Export Lighting to ComCheck
Be able to export lighting information to ComCheck for energy code compliance purposes.

HVAC Material Takeoff
Extract duct sizes and quantities from the HVAC database.
We're not exactly sure how this should work, so if you vote for this, leave a comment letting us know what information you would like displayed.

Swap & Copy Circuits
When copying circuits in the swap and copy dialog, multipole breakers do not copy to the new location as multipole breakers, they copy as single pole. It appears that you have to set the number of poles and their positions in the circuiting dialog before starting the copy/swap routine.

Select automatic conduit based on Type
When selecting conduit I want to be able to select the feeder as schedule 80 so that the only size option would be based on schedule 80. Then on another feeder I could select EMT for my circuits and the only option for auto sizing would be based on EMT. Finally, I would then have the option of adding the type to my one-lines and a conduit schedule.

Make the note fields for panels and switchboard larger and editable
We need the note fields for Panels and Switchboards to be larger and editable like the Description, Model, and Note fields in the Light Fixture Project Schedule.
